Assembly & Finishing

Fold the main ribbed rectangle in half with right sides facing inward, leaving the shaped flap extending at the top. Use your tapestry needle to whip stitch the side seams securely from bottom to top opening, then turn the pouch right-side out. Finally, sew your decorative button onto the front wall directly below the flap loop, weave in all remaining ends, and steam block gently for crisp edges.

Pro Tips for Best Results

  • Use 100% cotton yarn to prevent the shoulder strap from stretching excessively under the weight of your phone.
  • Maintain consistent tension during back-loop rows to ensure uniform ribbing texture throughout the pouch body.
  • Adjust your initial chain count in increments of two if you need to fit larger smartphone models or cases.
